4th of July 2001 at Disneyland

When Mommy & I woke up on the Fourth of July, we had no big plans for the day. Daddy woke up about 45 minutes later and said, "Let's go to Disneyland!" Well, I'd never been there before and I don't really remember when we went to Walt Disney World on our trip to Florida two years ago, so I was not really excited about going. I was a grumpy little kid until after we finished our very first ride: Star Tours. Mom & Dad thought I looked scared during the ride, even though I told them it was fun afterward. They decided we should skip some of the more radical rides in Tomorrowland until later. So, we picked up FastPasses for Autopia and then headed over to Fantasyland.

Fantasyland is the part of Disneyland that has all the fun 'kid' rides like the King Arthur Carrousel, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, the Mad Tea Party, and more.

We rode in the teacups of the Mad Tea Party, and Mom & Dad just couldn't seem to get our cup spinning. Finally, they figured out they were going the wrong direction so they went the other way and went really fast. The whole world was spinning when we got out.
